I only have a couple more pages to go on The Witch's Daughter by Nina Bawden. It is a creepy story about a girl called Perdita who doesn't have any friends she doesn't even go to school. People say she's a witch's daughter. Suddenly strangers start arriving on the island first Mr. Jones then Tim and his blind sister Janey. When that happens Perdita is in a centre of great adventure.

Roman Mysteries

So far I've only read the first book of the Roman Mysteries by Caroline Lawrence. I can't wait to read the next one its so good! You might be wondering what it's about. Well it's about three kids called Flavia Gemina, Lupus the beggar boy, Nubia the African slave girl, and Jonathan. They live in Ostia a place near Rome. The story takes place in the time of Ancient Rome. I really enjoyed he first book The Thieves of Ostia. Inside the book it tells you all the titles of the books in order. There are seventeen books all together.
